1. Controller

The controller of personal data collected through this website is the family-operated tourist accommodation business trading as Blue Vista Patmos.

The full registered legal name, Greek AFM/VAT (ΑΦΜ) and GEMI number are not published on third-party listings. They will be added here when the operator supplies them. They have not been invented.

Short-term rental / tourism registry numbers (MHTE) published for Blue Vista units include: 00001989478, 00001989824, 00001989845, 00001989993 and 00001989887.

2. Data we collect

From the contact and enquiry forms: first name, last name, email, telephone, free-text message, optional villa name, the time of submission, your IP address and the page URL. From a booking on reserve-online.net: the data that engine asks for (typically names, contact details, stay dates, unit, payment status). We do not ask for card numbers on this website.

3. Purpose and legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

  • Reply to an enquiry or handle a stay — Art. 6(1)(b) contract / steps prior to a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest in answering you.
  • Legal and tax records of a booking — Art. 6(1)(c).
  • Optional cookies that are not strictly necessary — Art. 6(1)(a) consent, only if you accept them. Necessary cookies (security, language, load balancing) do not need consent.

Ticking the form checkbox is consent to store your details so we can reply. It is not consent to a marketing list. We do not add you to a newsletter unless a separate, unchecked box is ticked. No marketing checkbox is offered on this form.

4. Retention

  • Unanswered or closed enquiries: up to 24 months after the last message.
  • Bookings and invoices: for the Greek tax retention period (normally 5 years after the relevant year).
  • Consent logs (time, IP, wording): 5 years.

5. Processors

  • Website hosting: the cPanel host for bluevistapatmos.com (MySecureCloudHost, 209.42.31.62).
  • Direct booking engine: reserve-online.net (WebHotelier / reserve-online), at bluevistapatmos.reserve-online.net.
  • Email: domain mailboxes on this host; Gmail may still be used internally. Transactional mail may also go through Amazon SES once configured.
  • Form anti-bot: Google reCAPTCHA, where enabled.
  • Language: WPML (a language cookie).

OTAs (Booking.com, Airbnb and others) are separate controllers for reservations made on those platforms.

6. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and you may withdraw cookie consent at any time. Write to info@bluevistapatmos.com. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

7. How to correct or delete data

Email us from the address you used on the form. We will identify the record and delete or correct it unless Greek tax law requires us to keep a booking file.
