The main square of Chora is just a 5-minute walk away, providing quick access to shops, cafés, and the vibrant local lifestyle.

Blue Vista Patmos is in a fantastic location, on a hillside on the edge of Skala. We had rented the big house. With views of three bays – so we could experience both the sunrise and the sunset on the large terrace. (There are also some apartments on the premises. However, guests are completely undisturbed.) Within a few minutes walking distance you can reach the bathing beaches of Meloi and Aspri. The location is great. Except for donkey and rooster screams in the early morning – only heard when the windows are open – it’s totally quiet. The lively town center of Skala is about a 20-minute walk away. Here you can find beautiful pubs, restaurants and stores. To explore the versatile island we recommend to rent a car or a scooter for some days. But the island bus also goes to Chora and Kampos. The house has a very high standard. You can tell that the owners used to live here themselves. The equipment is very good. There are fly screens, shutters and air conditioning in the bedrooms. Nothing is missing in the kitchen (sandwich maker, various coffee machines, dishwasher, deep fryer …). The quality of the beds is also top notch; I have rarely slept so well in a cottage. In their description of the property, the landlords Iris and Sofia did not exaggerate. The two sisters were very helpful, Sofia even picked us up at the ferry and gave us many tips. The communication went very well. We can fully recommend the accommodation. We traveled from Kos to Samos from island to island in this late summer for three weeks; we liked the island of Patmos best. If we are lucky we will come back next year – to the “sacred island” and to Blue Vista Patmos.

Iris and Sofia were possibly the best Airbnb hosts I’ve had throughout the 10+ years I’ve been on the platform. They both went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were looked after – boat rental, car hire, massages, tennis, beach and restaurant recommendations. Sofia even trained pilates with me in the mornings and was flexible re: the timings. Highly recommend! Their villa is charming with lovely gardens and centrally located on top of a hill with incredible views. From the terrace you can see three bays and also sunset. There is a beautiful quiet beach only a few mins short walk from the villa which we found useful for our small children in the mornings. We will definitely stay again. Been in Patmos so many times and Blue Vista Patmos is always my choice! To begin with, it offers accommodation for all sorts of groups. So I have pretty much stayed in all houses/studios depending on the company 😛 What I truly love about this place, is the location, which provides a perfect view along with the silence you need to relax! It is also close by foot to some beaches and to “Skala”, which is where the port and most of the stores, restaurants, bars, etc are located. The host is super helpful and nice, ready to serve your wishes. I firmly recommend this Island together with this accommodation!! Waiting forward to seeing you again… 💙

Wow what a wonderful place! We visited Patmos during September 2020 and had to rearrange many details of our visit as a result of the impact of Covid19 restrictions. After seeing the website we made direct contact and Iris helped us to rearrange our accommodation in Patmos. Her flexibility at this time made it possible to recover from the impact of hotel, ferry and airline changes and cancellations.
On arrival we were met at the port and given a lift to the appartment which turned out to fully live up to our expectations. We were and remain delighted with the accommodation, the island and the friendly and courteous manner of everyone involved. They are a dedicated family business and a pleasure to deal with.
Iris kept in touch throughout our stay and even arranged for the delivery of a hire car for us which was brought to the appartment only 10 minutes after her phone call.
The appartment was beautifully presented with everything we needed and importantly the bed was very comfortable.
There is a wonderful view from the terrace and the pool and the sounds of the donkey braying, dogs barking, goat bells clanking and cockerals crowing in the distance all made for a truly memorable visit. We are already making arrangememts to return next year.

OUTSTANDING HOSPITALITY. The place was great , clean comfortable and very well located. Two minutes away from the port. Mr. Kostas came at night to welcome us at the port even if we had a car, he drove all the way just to navigate us to the apartment. So we had a very good first impression about the hosts. I am not going to say much , just I have to mention that my car faced “difficulties” to climb the street for the house , and Mr. Kostas brought builders to fix the street the next morning on his own expenses . What else could I say for my experience ? Thank you so much for everything. Best Regards
